Dubai continues to be a buzzing nexus for the art community year after year.
By constantly innovating in the art space, Khawla Art & Culture is presenting its first official exhibition entitled ‘Unity in Diversity’ and will include creative paintings by Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Suwaidi.
Both the attendance of Her Highness along with the organisation’s first anniversary makes this a special occasion to celebrate talent in the UAE.
Each piece by Sheikha Khawla is passionately produced by baring her mark in a unique style. Her painting is created with a profound flair using words that she writes continuously without once removing the pen from the paper.
With the integration of global talent in the region, the theme of the exhibition resonates beautifully with what the UAE stands for. By placing emphasis on the UAE’s creative and cultural activities, the activities will include a viewing of creative paintings, sculptures, ornaments and hand-written Quranic verses in different calligraphy styles by artists who have decorated mosques, palaces and domes.
The exhibition will feature over 50 works of art by 40 artists from around the world. With art connoisseurs keeping their talent on display, each piece has been carefully selected to synchronize with the theme in all aspects.
By celebrating Khawla Art & Culture’s contribution, there will be a series of multidisciplinary cultural seminars in drawing, colour, calligraphy, lighting, and poetry to enlighten its audience.
The impressive collection of art pieces exhibition is on until October 12, 2021, at Dubai Opera. Doors will be open from 10am to 10pm with other events such as cultural discussions between artists and the public, to enhance the artistic movement in the UAE.
