Bla Bla
Bla Bla is the hottest new place on JBR and its brunch will have you kicking things off early. Enter Brunch at Onda Nami, which runs from 1pm to 4pm. On the menu is dishes such as crispy rice avocado and california rolls to start, followed by Katsu Kare with chicken, Japanese curry and rice or Angus BBQ short rib with sweet potato fries, and red velvet delight for dessert. Breeze Beach Grill
An oldie but a goodie, Breeze Beach Grill has long been popular with Dubai’s brunch crowd. On Fridays enjoy beach access, an open BBQ and unlimited house beverages for Dhs245. It always gets busy here so make sure to book ahead.

Discover the swinging jazz age of 1920s Osaka at Mimi Kakushi. Its new brunch runs every Friday from 12pm to 4pm, with incredible Japanese dishes such as black cod and prawn gyoza with a citrus miso sauce, crisp vegetable tempura, Kushi Angus beef and yakitori chicken thighs. Palm Bay is one of the most popular bars and restaurants on the Club Vista Mare strip and for good reason. We all like to get more for our money and you’ll get just that at Foxglove’s long Friday brunch which runs from 12pm to 5pm. It promises a three-course meal, with a choice of British and European dishes on the menu, along with free-flowing drinks. For ladies, it’s Dhs250 with house drinks or Dhs350 with sparkling wine, and for the lads, it’s Dhs300 with house drinks and Dhs400 with bubbles.

Casual British-style pub The Tipsy Lion recently reopened its doors and it’s back with the ‘Great British Brunch’ this weekend. On the menu you’ll find classic British dishes such as fish and chips and butter chicken pie, as well as chicken tikka, plant-based sliders and desserts such as sticky toffee pudding. Live music will be provided by a resident DJ and some of the Boxtones. Free-flowing drinks include themed cocktails. Happy hour runs from 5pm to 8pm.
